A great program manager at King’s College London
The King’s Academy is working closely with employees, students and external partners in promoting and supporting the experience of teaching and learning for students in King’s.
We focus on the leadership of continuous improvement in education and enabling colleagues by exercising an informed evidence.
By working in partnership with colleges, employees, students and external collaborators, we create opportunities to focus on improving educational practices and promoting progressive academic culture. These include events, workshops, partnerships, financing opportunities and more.
About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with appropriate disciplinary experience, for the post of first program manager
This role will work in various program activities at King Academy, such as the delivery of the King’s Educational Awards, the Partition Students ’Partnership, and the initiatives in the leadership and scholarship program. In addition, the role will support the head of operations in providing commercial support within the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for colleagues who want to build on their skills and experiences in managing projects who work closely with teachers within the King Academy and through colleges, and to participate with the staff of faculty and students, to participate in developing programs and activities that will ultimately support the employees who study.
The director of the first program will join the current friendly operations team at King Academy and will be closely supported within the King Academy. PostHolder will help ensure operational efficiency in the main areas. Sometimes, members of the team will exchange responsibilities and duties when necessary.
The role is mainly based on the King’s JCMB campus, although you may be asked to travel to other universities at times. As part of the King’s hybrid work policy, it is expected that all team members on the campus will be 40-60 % of the time, although we will be happy to consider the flexible work in the discussion with you.
The publication will be an unspecified contract. This is a full -time post (35 hours a week) in the professional services contract.
