The teaching staff at MBM unites with a common attention in microbial biology (bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites) and the effects of microbes on the human and animal hosts. The microbial pathogens program studies microorganisms that cause infectious diseases, with a focus on strict analysis of these corridors and the immune responses they restrict. Program investigators direct detailed studies of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Research topics include structural analysis of virus entry, viral development, viral immorality, bacterial pathogens within cells, microorganisms that cause diarrhea and pneumonia, cells inside cells, pathogenic adhesion, genetic determinants involved in the ability to infection, develop vaccine, and identify new students.

What will you do?

Under close supervision of the main researcher, other laboratory members, and senior scientists in neighboring laboratories who closely know the required techniques, the research technician may conduct a variety of experiments using a variety of skills, which may include bacterial and mammary cultures, and benefit from the machine. In these capabilities, the research technician will also record the test results and analyze data using statistics. Work for this project is very cooperative.

Performing routine experiments:

  • Follow and design protocols/procedures appropriate to achieve results and test specific hypotheses.
  • Performing techniques such as cell transplantation, preparing samples for live cell microscopes, mesocalist analysis, measuring cellular flow, molecular biology procedures, and drug systems.
  • Record the results and help analysis of data, including sports modeling and/or automated learning:
  • Keep accurate records of experiences and results
  • Implementation of data interpretation/summary including writing allocated code and forms
  • Connect the results to PI
  • It interacts scientifically with laboratory colleagues
  • Data analysis, interpretation of results, and assisting laboratory members in writing materials for publishing and presentation
  • Help in laboratory operations (as all laboratory members do), including (but not limited to) help other laboratory members, request supplies and stock signal, laboratory organization, and equipment repair coordination

What we are looking for

Basic requirements:

  • Under the supervision of the main investigator and other laboratory members, the research technician must have the following skills to conduct a variety of experiments. These may include:
  • Agriculture of bacteria and mammals)
  • Conduct high medium productivity measurements Bethon programming and machine learning
  • Record the test results and data analysis using statistics

Favorite qualifications:

  • Fixed interest in details, organizational skills and excellent communication is very important.
  • It is necessary to know MS Office products, statistical/quantitative and account.
  • Previous experience working with molecular biology and/or cell biological techniques preferred.

Payment

Minimum $ 20.50, mid -24.40 dollar point, maximum $ 28.30

The salary depends on the relevant experience, experience and internal fairness; In general, new appointments can expect the wages between minimal and mid -range.
