Monash Arts It is one of the largest and most dynamic arts colleges in Australia, with special strengths in humanities, theatrical arts, languages ​​and social sciences. the College of Social Sciences She is the largest in faculty members and one of the most comprehensive social sciences schools in the country. It is home to more than 100 graduate research students annually and three leading research centers: Monash Center for Migration and Integration, the Monash Center for Family Violence Prevention, and the Development and Sustainability Economics Center. About the opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the most comprehensive social sciences in Australia. As head of the school, it will provide strategic leadership through education, research and participation, and plays a major role in shaping the wider college’s direction as a member of the executive. The initial leadership period will be presented for a period of three years, with an opportunity to extend it.

As a stabilized leader with a strong disciplinary and cooperative reputation, it will inspire employees and lead innovation through the various school portfolio. The main priorities include:

  • The renewal of the curricula, the end of the research colonialism and teaching
  • Promote industry and external partnerships
  • Enhancing employment through university level programs and graduate studies
  • Supporting research excellence and directing professional academics
  • Pioneer to develop employees, performance and work burden
  • Expanding the school HDR program and enhancing multidisciplinary cooperation

This role provides the opportunity to lead the next stage of the development of the school and the future of social sciences – locally, nationally and globally.
