SR Director – Business Development

position:

MDA seeks to obtain a large manager, business development to lead a variety of business development initiatives in the Geointelligence Business field.

Responsibilities:

The first manager, developing works responsible for developing strategies and winning new works. In this leadership role, you will analyze the needs of the market and customers, taking into account technical and non -technical needs, potential solutions, potential competition, all other aspects and chances. Based on the analysis, you will develop and implement the victory strategy and the pursuit plan. You will form and manage the competitive chase team including members of both technical experts (engineering and expert materials) and non -technical specialties (contracts, financing, project management, legal, etc.), and will coordinate the team’s activities to increase the possibility of winning in MDA.

The first manager, developing business, will develop new opportunities in both international and local markets, and works externally with customers, partners and subcontractors, and the interior with multiple business departments and senior management as required to develop approved chase plans.

In addition to the management of the efforts, business development, business development will also be responsible for negotiating contracts, and identifying and implementing various long -term strategic initiatives that are essential for the growth of the renewal of spatial geographical land systems.

Requirements (experience/skills):

It will include major tasks and responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers to define strategies to achieve goals.
  • Understanding the process of financing customer and purchases and providing expected data.
  • Support and the development of current customer accounts.
  • Reading new job opportunities.
  • Build relationships with major customer contacts.
  • Create customer awareness of MDA products, services, capacity and strengths.
  • Help the potential customers in the activities of creating programs to influence customers towards MDA offers.
  • Learn about and obtain intelligence regarding potential opportunities.
  • Determine and build relationships with potential partners.
  • Determine and acquire knowledge of competitors.
  • MDA support marketing initiatives, including contributing to new brochures, papers, advertising campaigns, etc.
  • Relaxing the relevant institutional sites of notifications related to future business opportunities.
  • Manage the bidding process from one side to the end.
  • Participate in negotiating procedures as required for any successful tenders

A successful candidate will show the following skills and experience:

  • Direct experiment on one or more aspects of the Earth’s monitoring chain.
  • Experience in space missions.
  • A good understanding of the land monitoring data and the associated application capabilities.
  • The experience of managing complex bid preparation operations.
  • Experience in developing international business.
  • Knowledge of government purchases.
  • Understanding the financial aspects of projects, bids and business issues.
  • Experience of external customer relationship.
  • The ability to build relationships and influence all levels.
  • The ability to think “outside the box” to determine the options of the innovative and feasible solution/service.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team independently.

Mint features:

  • At least ten years experience in developing business in one or more high technology institutions.
