What is the role?

We are looking for a great Devops engineer who will focus on building a strong partnership between engineering and risk management teams. In this role in the Actavish software engineering team, you will be primarily responsible for transferring applications through risk assessments, partnership with applications teams to collect evidence on controls and apply applied control patterns. To excel in this role, knowledge of Devops will be collected via applications and data platforms (Mainfrry, Windows, Linux, Docker, AWS) with risk engineering practices (access management, data control items, safe flyers, registration and surveillance) to ensure the difference is effectively identifying, relieving, and documenting risk in software solutions.

Initial duties and responsibilities

• Owning and leading the risk assessments of applications that move via SDLC
• Work with app teams to collect control guides and apply risk patterns/control

• Development teams have helped apply construction patterns, quality scanning, testing and spreading automation patterns in Gitlab Ci pipelines.
• Design and build automation patterns for CI/CD, and spread infrastructure, maintenance, monitoring, improved security and compliance with institutions standards.
• Solving complex technical problems and enabling/teaching their peers to be self -sufficient
• Providing thought leadership in the local work department
• Partner with other institutions teams on best practices, patterns and emerging technology.
• Learn pre -emptive patterns, cloud services and relevant technology

• Experience installed in risk evaluation and applying safety patterns within business environments (favorite)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 4-5 years

• 4 years of professional information technology experience 4 years with at least the operating system/hosting system platform (i.e. Linux, Windows, AWS, Kube)
• Two years experience with N-Tier applications (i.e. DNS, http, SSL, encryption, authentication)
• Two years experience with CI/CD (GitLAB CI’s concepts and tools, safe service automation, secret management, test concepts, blue/green)
• Two years experience in infrastructure automation tools or coding/textual programming (Terraform, Python, JavaScript, Powershell)
• Creative problem solving skills to adapt the standard CI/CD styles and safety practices to transfer old applications.
• Strong communication skills

Payment range – Start:

92,750.00 dollars

Payment range – end:

172,250.00 dollars

Specified geographical wages structure:

205 – Temple 110: 102,060.00 USD – 189,540.00 USD 205 – Temple 115: 106,680.00 USD – 198,120.00 USD
