What will you do?

An expert advice will be provided for archaeological preservation to the historical England, the trust of the English heritage through a joint service agreement and the broader sector. The experience in analyzing, interpreting and informing the technical gatherings and historical features in the historical projects of England will be provided in projects that were implemented in cooperation with universities and other IRO and projects assigned. You will develop and implement innovative heritage scientific research to support corporate historical plan for corporate business and research schedule, including the leader in projects and assignment. You will actively participate in increasing general value and the impact of your research, including developing general participation activities and participating in general participation activities. You will champion archaeological memorization, and seek opportunities to present the historical works of England in patriotism and international.

An important part of your role will be to manage and develop the marine conservation facility, including overseeing access, training and supervision of external users. You will develop and contribute to training as part of the spread of best practices and developing ability to archaeological memorization.

It will work closely with colleagues of other marine specialists throughout the historic England to ensure the organization’s service is smooth in all relevant issues.

What are we looking for

  • Qualification after graduation in the field of relevant conservation or equivalent experience
  • Interested and comprehensive experience in the practice of archaeological memorization
  • Extensive and installed experience in the use of X -rays, and /or vacuum -freezing freezing equipment as applied to cultural materials
  • A clear understanding of the current issues that affect the practice of conservation in the commercial, voluntary and academic sectors in the United Kingdom
  • Interested and comprehensive experience in the practice of archaeological memorization
  • A confident and adaptive communication style, able to work constructively with a wide range of internal and external partners
