Join us at the Institute of Epidemiology (PSI), Oxford University-a global pioneering center devoted to treating infectious diseases and progress in global health through advanced research, innovation and cooperation.

We are looking for an exceptional communications president to form and lead the PSI communication strategy, which prompts our vision and influence on a global stage. This pivotal role will supervise the talented communications and events team and provide a direct report to the director and the business manager.

As head of communications, you will play a major role in telling the story of PSI – developing bold campaigns, managing our brand, building strong relationships with partners, media, government and financiers. You will lead high -level contact initiatives and events, including our main international conference, and represent PSI externally, for example as head of the Cooperative Communications Communications Working Group in Africa.

This is an exciting opportunity for a prominent communications leader with great experience in higher education or research. It will bring experience in participating in the media, stakeholders’ relationships, strategic planning, as well as creativity, diplomacy and leadership skills to inspire others and achieve a real influence in the field of global health.
