Post -PhD Researcher (Psychology/Neuroscience) at Edinburgh University
Opportunity:
We invite requests to Post -PhD Researcher (Psychology/Neuroscience) To be a key member of a new research project.Re -writing Wor (L) DS: Achievement through disciplines and participatory on how to support hair to the erasure of illiteracy for young people and its well -being‘ The project is funded by Ukry, led by future colleague of the future leaders, Dr. Patrick Erengton.
The project combines multiple methods and will be guided by a community photography to investigate the role of creative participation with poetry in supporting literacy of poetry and luxury for youth. The main work chain of this project includes the use of many methods of nervous imaging and cognitive psychology (including functional magnetic resonance) to examine mechanisms and aesthetic experience to read the poetic language under various important conditions, especially for young people (ages 12-18). This work will contribute to the broader research and to academic and public outputs, including creating an intervention based on mobile phone applications to enhance hair sharing for young people and investigate its long -term benefits.
The mail holder will be the central member of the world of work in psychology/neuroscience, and he works closely with the leadership of the project, Dr. Errington, and with the research of Psychology Professor Dan Mirman to design and experience software,/or implementation and/or supervision of data collection, development and behavior of analyzes, joint conferences of conferences, and translating results both to direct other works and WIDER equipment. When implementing this role, the postal holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team of literacy and literary studies and will be encouraged to learn and share technologies, methods and skills with them. The postal holder will also collaborate with Project Partners and interact with young societies throughout the UK.
This full -time post (35 hours per week); However, we are open to looking at flexible action patterns. We are also open to considering mixed action requests (on an uneducated basis) that combines a combination of remote and regular work on campus, however, some regular work will be needed on campus.
