Applications are invited to fill a research position in the intensive physics group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of researchers who have been at the forefront of graphic research since his discovery in 2004 and will work on a series of projects related to graphics and other EPSRC and European Commission and a group of other international financiers.

The post is available from October 1 for 12 months. The project will focus on an investigation into the properties of the incentive and ion transportation of new two -dimensional materials. The successful candidate must have already presented a doctoral thesis in physics, chemistry, material science or relevant discipline. Specialized experience in electrical chemistry, accurate manufacturing of the device in the environment of a clean room or microscopic electrical measurements will be a great advantage. The filter should also be a good and self -motivated organizer, with excellent communication skills.
