The role –

PEACETIME is a multi -border initiative funded by Europe aimed at addressing the harmful effects of chronic obesity diseases on individuals, health care systems and society. The project seeks to enhance fair access to the care of individuals with complex obesity according to type 2 diabetes through an innovative integrated clinical service that is provided in the field of primary care and community settings. Specifically, the new service will include providing a mixture of nutrition, psychological and physical activity and pharmaceutical treatments using innovative health training methods supported by technology and a doctor remotely.

This specific role will focus on supporting the delivery of two sub -research projects, which aims to (1) a qualitative assessment of total intervention and (2) assessing the effect of the Coronian sequence intervention in the sub -population of patients. These sub -research projects will be conducted across the Derry ~ Londonderry, Donegal, SLIGAL), and therefore, postholder is expected to travel to fulfill the requirements of the role.

We may create a 12 -month waiting list for the same roles or the like within the department / faculty. The university reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the university if necessary for some posts.

– About you –

Postholder will be asked to have:

Bachelor’s or Master of Human Nutrition, Nutritionology or Discipline Discipline.
Holding a PhD (or near the completion with the thesis presented) in human nutrition, nutrition science or discipline related to health care.
Related experience and / or training in conducting nutrition and health research that includes human participants.
