Lecturer (Education) in ancient history at Queens Belfast University
We seek to employ (education) records in ancient history, from January 5, 2026 to January 4, 2027. This will include the 12 -month -old position of teaching and supervision at the level of university level and postgraduate studies in ancient history, in addition to contributing to the activity of school administration. In particular, coverage of teaching university units is required on “Great Alexander” and “Old City”.
The School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics is one of the largest and most diverse schools at the university, where culture and society are explored of the origins of humanity and ancient history to contemporary discussions on politics and government. We are also home to a number of research centers, such as the General History Center, which brings together groups of research conducted by academics at the school and beyond.
About the person:
As a successful candidate, you will have the following:
- You have, or are about to finish, doctorate in ancient history or the theme of CGNATE.
- The ability to contribute to teaching the required stereotypes in the section in ancient history.
- Developing research output in ancient history, suitable for the professional stage.
- The ability to carry out suitable administrative duties for publication.
- Personal communication skills and excellent communications, including the ability to work as an effective member of the team.

Fixed contracts of contracts are available for the first specified period, but in certain conditions it can be renewed or made permanent to provide financing.
