Technical University in Darmstat – Institute of Applied Earth Sciences, Aquatic Geological Chemistry Group

Tu Darmstadt symbolizes excellent and self -science sciences. We play a decisive role in forming long-term processes for global change-from energy transition to artificial intelligence-through distinguished scientific knowledge and innovative academic programs. We collect our advanced research in three areas: energy, environment, information, intelligence, material and materials. We are a university that has strong relationships with the capital, Frankfurt Ryan Man, and a very strong international focus. We are committed to European values and European integration.

Aqueous Geological Chemistry (AG) is a recently created research group at the Tu DarMstadt Earth Science Institute. The group studies chemical processes and transport in water environments, with a main focus on surface, especially on shallow groundwater systems. We conduct experimental investigations and modeling to study the flow and interactive transportation processes in the porous media on different measures. One of the main research fields of the AG group is the investigation of electric transport operations (EK) in the porous media caused by the application of electric fields in the surface surface. This field of research includes exciting scientific questions and basic understanding, as well as innovative applications in various fields such as treating contaminated sites and sustainable recovery of valuable minerals and rare ground elements in sub -surface environments.
