Digital & Technology provides a strategic and transit approach at the university level, design and providing services to enable learning, teaching, research and innovation, focusing on the experiences of students and employees constantly.

The Director of Technology Services is a pivotal role in digital and technology, as he works in partnership with the chief digital officials and the broader high leadership team, responsible for leading credibility with business, and forming a future technology scene via basic infrastructure, AV, Services and Cyber ​​Security Department.

This role provides a unique opportunity to make a great impact and change the way Ual works, which provides leadership and guidance for the technology team, as well as introducing innovative ideas to enhance the foundations of technology, direct our strategy and extradition.

In recent years, we have made a significant investment in network infrastructure, telephone, cybersecurity and AV to ensure that our students, academics and professional employees can be empowered. Looking forward, a successful candidate will oversee the major investment areas including hosting, storage and identity, as well as working in partnership with the broader team in areas such as data and AI.

This role has a functional supervision of more than 100 team members, will enhance an open, comprehensive and high -performance culture, and defines opportunities to improve our ways of work and a multidisciplinary approach to provide continuous improvement for our founding services.

About you

A successful candidate will have a strong background in the higher IT department, with a demonstration experience in providing operational services through complex environments.

They should have a busy driving record, leadership, and high -performance team management, as well as clear driving and defending new ways to work on a large scale.

This role requires extensive experience in work cooperatively with adult leadership colleagues to achieve a common strategic vision, complemented by excellent communication skills and the ability to cooperate effectively with technical and non -technical colleagues at all levels of organizational.

The experience of working in a higher education environment is desirable but not necessary.
