Goldsmits, University of London, is looking for a distinguished individual to take over the role of IT Director. This decisive situation provides an exciting opportunity to form the future of digital transformation and technological services in one of the most thinking universities in London.

About the role
As her director, you will play a major role in the university leadership team at the university, where she has made reports to the chief financing and infrastructure employees. You will lead a very diverse and skill team to provide a comprehensive information technology strategy that supports academic aspirations and operational needs of Goldsmits.

This role is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure, systems and services at the university are strong and safe and suit the purpose in supporting educational processes, learning, research and administrative operations of the institution. IT director will be effective in leading the bombs of digital transformation, improving student experience, and ensuring operational efficiency through the use of modern technology.

Driving through the main fields, including information technology, infrastructure, information security, business systems, communications, digital innovation, transformation, information technology and user support. In this role, you will link a culture with innovation and excellence in the service, ensuring that information technology services are constantly developing to meet the needs of students, employees and the wider academic community.

About you
It will bring an important leadership experience within the information technology function, preferably in a complex and organized environment. You will have an installed ability to develop and implement IT strategies that are in line with organizational goals, with a focus on improving service and digital transformation. Experience in managing teams and large budgets is necessary, as well as a deep understanding of architecture, network security and compliance frameworks such as GDP.

As an effective communication and collaborator, it will work closely with the academic departments, the higher leadership and external partners to provide innovative information technology solutions that enhance university operations. It will also show a strong commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in service, ensuring that Goldsmits remains at the forefront of technological progress in the higher education sector.
