Betts colleague at the Studies of Oxford University
hours : Part -time (6.47 hours / 0.1725 FTE)
About the role
The College of Music seeks to appoint a Betts colleague in member studies. The post is presented on an open basis, starting from January 2026.
John Betts was created to celebrate the activities of Mr. Betts as a creator and restoration of organs, and supports scholarships and musical fellowships related to a member’s study.
The Betts Fellow in Member Studies is responsible, under the supervision of the head of the Betts Committee and the Chairman of the College Council, to create a strengthening profile for organic and study activities at Oxford University, and to strengthen a community among member scientists throughout the University University, especially the fact that about 50 % of member scientists study other topics of music.
About you
Postolder will create, manage and publish a central program for member events. The responsibilities of this role include organizing and operating a guidance program for a day or two, developing programs designed to support member scientists, and maintaining the Betts web page and various social media relationships.
Applicants must get a bachelor’s degree or skills and know the equivalent and be a prominent performance and teacher.
