After a doctorate researcher at Oxford University
location: Building life and mind, South Parks Street, Oxford, Ox 1 3el
This is an opportunity for the post -PhD researcher to study the role of vesicles outside the cell (EVS) in the classification of muscle fungi, led by Dr. Ronile Roth in the Department of Vegetable Molecular Biology.
EVS is produced in all the kingdoms of life where it mediates in communication from the cell to the cell, however, in plants, its vital secretion, secretion and functions remain badly incomprehensible. We are recruiting a post -doctoral researcher with intense motivations with experience in plant humbled interactions. Research will be built on a modern LC-MS analysis for isolated EVS during the M. Tracatula, AM Fungus, R. Irregularis. The project focuses on obtaining an EV mechanical understanding and loading charging and signals regulating EV launch during the reaction. Post-Doc will work closely with laboratory members, but with a focus on the fungal proteins associated with EV. It will help in developing the protocol and technology and using the inheritance of the functional analysis of EV candidates. This project will require a strong molecular biological background, knowledge of the structural prediction of AI-based protein, in laboratory and Cryo-am, an experiment in analyzing large data groups, and solid background in biochemistry. Knowing a microscope united foci is optional.
In addition, the postal holder will help Dr. Ruth in financing requests, writing manuscripts in addition to providing guidance for beginners members in the research group that includes research aides, doctoral and doctoral students, and project volunteers. They will have access to the advanced experimental and accounting facilities found in the building of life and new mind (LAMB). He will have the opportunity to interact with cooperative researchers in Oxford and through Europe.
