Uchv colleagues in law and normative thinking for 2026
The University Center for Humanitarian Values ​​invites practitioners, faculty members in any specialty and independent scholars to apply for the visit of residential fellowships in the period 2026-27. Scientists are expected to reside in or around Princeton or show the satisfaction of the program to be on the campus daily. Fellowship is a full -time commitment that usually extends from September 1 to June 1.
Fellows will devote the full academic year for research, discussion and scientific cooperation on issues related to law and normative investigation. Under exceptional circumstances, one -semester fellowships can be considered. Scientists will participate in the program’s weekly symposium in law and standard thinking and will also be asked to spend time directing JD/PHD students who attend this symposium.
Applicants must obtain a doctorate, legal physician, or a vocational degree in the time of submission. The program is open to senior researchers and local and international scholars, who are in law colleges or in the practice of law and those who are taken in other disciplines. However, this is not an opportunity for a post -PhD or a visitor who is designed to launch young scientists in academic professions.
The selection committee is closely considering the research proposal. Successful applicants must show great experience in the issues related to the law, but in explaining research projects, applicants must write to an audience of academic public (not necessarily attorneys). The choice committee will evaluate the applicants on: the quality of their achievements in the field of specialization and their ability to benefit from the activities of the program; The quality and importance of the proposed research projects and the writing sample; Contributions that are likely to make in the future for legal scholarships, practice and their ability to contribute to legal studies in Princeton, programs and task of the University Center for Human values.

Expected salary scope: $ 100,000
