About the role

This is a permanent position on January 1, 2026.

This colleague in teaching is an opportunity to join the Cymraeg theme team at Swansea University, which contributes to the exciting and innovative Cymrae BA programs. This position will include teaching a variety of stereotypes for university students with different linguistic abilities, which contributes to the first language and the second language grades.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and enthusiastic individual to teach Welsh as a language, literature and related cultural studies. The successful candidate will require wide knowledge of discipline in order to contribute to a wide range of stereotypes, but it may specialize in one or more of the following aspects: Welsh literature, language (grammar and/or language acquisition), Welsh medium, linguistic policy, translation, Welsh history, social classes,/or vocational education.

The main responsibilities of the situation include preparing and presenting the symposium content, giving training notes, evaluating courses, and participating in activities to provide academic support, for example, working hours and audit sessions.
Teaching colleague will support the development of written students and speech through seminars with small groups, workshops and individual sessions. They will work closely with the teaching team to ensure students have an unparalleled educational experience. In addition, the postal holder is expected to contribute to employment efforts and play administrative roles for the topic.

Welsh language skills

The level of the Welsh language required for this role is level 3 – fluent. The role of the role will be able to conversation in a vicious Welsh in a work related issue and write the original Wales materials with confidence.
