7 hours per week x 37 weeks – permanent (Thursday)

Manchester Architecture School ranked fifth in the prestigious QS International University rankings and has the unique context of being a cooperation between the University of Manchester Metropolitan and the University of Manchester. It is one of the largest architecture schools in the country with more than 1,200 students (it usually represents about 85 countries) and more than 150 employees of various backgrounds and is proud to keep their quality and sense of society despite its size.

The specified role is a teacher in our non -standard habitats that are achieved in alternative ways to housing through speculative research. It is interested in design for the future, including identifying the current neglected needs, but also depicting future scenarios that require setting a new software agenda, competing with current construction and standards, and imagining visual specialized environments.

One of the basic aspects of these future visions will require exploring the physical environment that arises from the coordination of natural and cultural environments, and follows strategies that allow sustainable dialogue between the two parties. In converting cities and regions, design proposals will need to address the processes of re -explaining old and new patterns, as well as the emergence of negotiations and synergy between architectural programs and landscapes. These interventions will produce brokerage structure, as a reference for the physical landscapes that are compatible with inconsistent elements and work on thresholds and intersections between inactive material and living materials, between synthetic and natural.

This role will mostly work with a Bachelor’s degree in the third year as well as M.ARCH students in the first year, both of which participate in comprehensive and comprehensive construction designs, and so on, the experience of that, including practice, is a requirement. Technical thinking is a central tool in the design process where design proposals will be presented through in -depth vision in exploring materials, structural composition, tanks and environmental design.

You will also have exceptional characteristics between personality and communications, excellent organizational and administrative skills, and a cooperative approach to work. We will also look for you to ensure an excellent student experience by using inspiring and inspiring learning and teaching.
