About the role

CHIME is looking for a great engineer to build and develop our basic messages platforms and exchange low-backpacks to exchange information through resonance services. The application and language applications team also has major systems that form developers and engineering consistency, including:

• Temporary Storage – Redis Governance, patterns and operational improvements
• Job processing – local and unexplained local messaging systems
• Unified tools-shared bars libraries for registration, tracking, security and other cross-cutting features, as well
• Excellence in Language and Engineering – Ruby version, JEMALOLOC/YJIT, bars generators, best practices, with expansion in future languages

It will work on the intersection of infrastructure and application layer, and connecting the frameworks and tools that free products engineers have focus on features with reliability, reliability and consistency.

The basic salary offered for this role and the level of experience will start from $ 176,490 and up to $ 24,5100. Full -time employees are also qualified to obtain a reward, competitive shares package and benefits. The actual basic salary offered may be higher, depending on your site, skills, qualifications and experience.

In this role, you can expect it

• Automation of everything, including promotions, monitoring and operations.
• Build tools that enable self -service within the team and across all harmony.
• Building and maintaining very reliable and developed platforms and libraries.
• Improving developer’s productivity by introducing new tools/automation, or improvements to current tools/automation.
• Partner with products, data and infrastructure engineering to solve cross technical challenges.
• Reducing the operating expenses of platform services through strong cooperation with Infra teams.
• Provide advice for engineering teams on communications patterns and data exchange.

To flourish in this role, you have

• Understanding simultaneous and cohesive data exchange patterns (PUB/SUB, RPC, temporary storage, etc.).
• Strong Ruby/RAILS experience; Python or Go is an additional reward.
• Strong knowledge with AWS (including flexible, SNS/SQS) and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Exposure to large -scale architectural patterns and important production systems.
• Working experience in CI/CD environments.
• A busy record of shipping production systems as part of a team.
• Driving to solve complex problems from end to end.
• Society and passion for supporting internal engineers.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
