Position

We are looking for SARS In our office in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada’s office is part of the next generation of land observation space missions.

From the discovery of changes in fragile ecosystems to monitoring the northern ice horizon and charging methods, it makes land monitoring data approaching our real time, Geointeigence, pioneering in spatial geographical images, ground stations, spatial geographical systems and defense programs. We will join the remote sensing team with a 30-year-old experience in the provision of commercial and government projects such as Radarsat-2, Rapideye, Sapphire, Cassipe, Radarsat Constellation and now the choir of SART.

This is a suitable role for an ambitious professional who wants to solve complex problems and develop new algorithms that contribute to improving our world. You will contribute to the leadership of the artificial aperture radar processes by developing new signaling algorithms that generate high -value images and the actual time of our customers.

Responsibilities

your SARSYou may have a wide range of responsibilities that include:

• Develop new signaling algorithms to push SAR performance limits (decision, distance display, moving target index (MTI) and more);
• Design, development, maintenance and improvement of high -quality SAR processor models and preliminary models using best practices in architecture and software development;
• Participate in comparison studies and find solutions to ensure the implementation of algorithms on real devices (HW processor and radar);
• Investigation, exploring and repairing errors, identifying radical causes, alleviating the errors of signs or handicrafts induced in SAR photos;
• It analyzes the system level and develops models to predict the system performance and test it;
• Develop solutions to improve image quality;
• Development and implementation of calibration plans for SAR tasks;
• SAR treatment requirements are coordinated and developed with other stakeholders (net load team, requests, business development);
• It generates clear and comprehensive written reports documenting complex algorithms and technical performance; and
• Directing and training beginners team members.

The required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, engineering physics, mathematics, physics, or a combination of relevant education and experience;
• 3 years of experience in working in an engineering or technical environment or post post -studies degree;
• 3 years of work on complex signaling systems (such as radar, medical imaging, sonar, etc.) or post post -studies degree;
• A strong understanding of the principles and practices related to the design of high -speed data analysis and its highly productive transmission;
• The ability and knowledge to work with Matlab, Python or C ++;
• Self -start with the ability to perform in a dynamic work environment;
• It has excellent skills in solving problems;
• Personal, verbal, and excellent communication skills to explain the concepts of large -scale fans (such as the technical team, sales team, executives, clients, etc.); and
• The ability to work within a large organization, understanding dependencies and the needs of stakeholders.

Desired experience:

• Graduate degree in a field that includes complex signaling;
• SAR Speech estimate remotely, including system design, operation, applications/exploitation and calibration;
• Appreciation to design and loads of satellite satellites;
• Estimating and understanding the methodology of developing modern software;
• Experience in different types of engineering life cycles as it applies from large complex programs to software development;
• Appreciation to implement the algorithm on FPGA;
• The ability to learn new technologies and knowledge of a distance sensing in space quickly; and
• A strong understanding of spatial geographical data.
