Overview of the association
The Clark Association in the province of education is the largest independent educational union in the country, which represents more than 18,000 licensed employees from K-12 in 370 schools in CCSD province and is the fifth largest school region in the United States of America. CCEA is also the largest union for teachers in Nevada. CCEA provides collective negotiation, contract representation, professional development, legal services, legislative calls, and political programs to win our members. CCEA’s political achievement record in Nevada’s policy has made great progress for teachers and public education. CCEA successfully participates in government and local races and polling initiatives.

Basic qualifications and experience

• Experience in developing and implementing legislation, pressure and political advocacy
• Experience in election campaigns and polling initiatives
• The strategic thinker in terms of developing multi -year plans to develop the program and ability
• The ability to communicate effectively, by mouth and effective writing skills
• It should be paid in data, skill in collecting, analyzing and producing analyzes with data for use as a basis for developing specific political strategies
• The ability to plan effectively and develop a variety of strategies to achieve organizational goals

Main job responsibilities

• Work with CCEA CEO in developing the legislative and political agenda in CCEA
• Planning and managing the electoral session of CCEA in government races and the local team
• CCEA political, societal and trade relations management
• Managing the internal political program for CCEA members
• Work with the data department in CCEA to build a political database and analyzes
• Other duties are appointed.
