Project title:

Merging medicine to support safe and appropriate mental prescription

Project Description:

This is a fully funded training program to conduct research on the possibilities of drug tests to provide the benefit of the patient in patients with mental health.

The student will assess how pharmaceutical tests can help describe decisions and retreat to improve the care of patients with mental health. Doctorate Training Fellow is the result of a partnership between the University of Bradford and the Yorkshire and Hamer Patient Safety Research and Bradford Care NHS Foundation Trust.

A doctoral student will be centered in the Pharmacy Improvement Group in the College of Pharmacy, visual science and medical science at Bradford University, and will also work for one day per week as a qualum in Bradford District Care Foundation Trust. Doctorate has a supervisory team from all partners. The student will directly participate in the applied health research facing the patient, for example by conducting the patient and doctor interviews. The student will benefit from work within a prosperous multidisciplinary research group that provides innovation and excellence in improving medicines and pharmacy research for the patient. This project is supported by a major national research center, which is the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Patient Research Cooperation, which allows the broader communication with doctoral students, researchers and other academics at the national level.

The doctoral position is the pharmacist registered in the United Kingdom. Advanced applicants who are in the Board of Public Pharmaceuticals in the Bradford District Care Trust will continue up to 0.2 WTE. The doctorate studies full time and is funded for three years and 3 months (fixed period). The student will receive a salary (19,795 pounds sterling, which is a milestone exempt and slightly increases in line with the fundamental salaries of Ukry).

It should be a fully qualified pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council or the Pharmaceutical Association in Northern Ireland, and to meet the requirements of residency to qualify to obtain tuition fees for the home (UK).

Funding notes:

This project has full funding for UK students, which will cover tuition fees and a tax -free salary of 19,795 pounds per year for living costs.
