About this team and the role:

The desktop engineering team is looking for an engineer for the front end to work on the features and capabilities of strength in Firefox, which greatly expands the value of our web browser for both loyal and new users.

Our team is geographically distributed, and working in the open is the base. We contribute to the code that leads Firefox browser on a number of desktop platforms – Windows, Linux and MacOS.

What will you do:

• Build high -quality user facades and experience for Firefox with accessibility and ease of use in mind
• Write the code and tests, build initial models, solve problems without a clear solution, and cooperate with other designers and engineers to make the web a better place
• Learn a wide range of problems and solutions through a large mature code base
• Working with multi -functional teams, building relationships and sponsoring cooperation to reach common goals
• Help raising the level of the skills of your fellow engineers through code reviews, conversations, and/or writing documents
• Promote and maintain high standards of code quality, focusing on performance, testing, security, usage, access and maintenance.
• Working with the paid team members and commitment to bring the open network to people all over the world
• Contribute to improving engineering practices and procedures

What you will bring:

• 2+ years experience as a software engineer
• Work experience for two years with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
