Located and Fellow Researcher/Fellow Control and Incidentity of Trafficking (FTC) at the University of Nottingham
The roles holder will work within the law and policy program for the rights laboratory to support cooperative research projects that focus on combating the number and combating government, with a focus on the design and implementation of the legal and political framework and the operation of justice systems. It is expected to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as conducting independent research. You will use the appropriate methods, methodologies and techniques for study, according to the study methodology. Specific tasks will be determined and appointed in line with the experience and skills of the roles holder, as well as the project needs.
The roles holder will also be responsible for writing their work in order to contribute to the published results, including academic outcomes and publications that focus on politics and practitioners. You will have a general confrontation role and represent the team externally.
About the team – This role is part of the university rights laboratory. Labor Lab is the first large -scale search platform for ending modern slavery, and the homeland of modern slavery experts in the world. We are working closely with the stakeholders in government institutions, civil society, businesses and international governmental institutions to present practically influential research that speak directly to the movement to combat slavery and those who work in this field. The law laboratory is based on the university campus.
About you – You will have great interest in cooperative research, multiplicity, and a passion for human rights and justice issues. You will have a strong eye for details, the ability to do tasks in a systematic and strict manner, and manage a good time. Candidates must have a doctorate degree in law or a related subject (or near completion), or the related professional experience (for example in research, invitation, politics or legal settings). You must have the ability to work in a team, build relationships and cooperate with others internally/externally.
Professional competence in a second language is not required but welcome and we encourage candidates to determine any languages ​​in which they can engage at the professional academic level. We also welcome candidates to highlight cultural competencies and experiences in working in various judicial contexts and results.
