The role focuses on providing excellent teaching, supporting student learning, and contributing to the development of programs related to financing. The lecturer will participate in research and scholarships and may participate in international cooperation as necessary. The successful candidate will support the leadership of the program, assist the teaching teams, and contribute to the broader development of the college.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and present innovative teaching sessions around students.
• Support students in their educational activities and create opportunities for industry sharing related to stereotypes.
• Contribute to developing relations with local stakeholders and international partners.
• Performing the duties of faculty members such as teaching students, preparing courses reports, and attending courses.
• Inclusion in research, scientific activities and general participation to enhance the reputation of faculty and university members.
• Contribute to the development of the program and the subject in cooperation with the wider team.
• Participate in the management of faculty members and quality guarantees.
• The stereotypes that are allocated, planned, developing new units, and setting tasks at university levels and graduate studies.
• Implementing administrative responsibilities and the expected support program as required.
• Create and maintain a set of research activities with realistic horizons for publication.
• Maintaining professionalism, group, and cooperation with all employees and students in line with DMU values.

Candidate requirements

Qualifications:

• Related honor (BA/BSC) in financing or relevant discipline.
• Related postgraduate degree or:
• PhD in financing or relevant field, or
• Related professional qualification (for example, CFA).
• Academic qualifications must be witnessed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) or to be eligible to ratify at the presentation.
• Candidates must ensure that qualifications are eligible to obtain the UAE Ministry of Education equation or be ready to start the process when appointing.

expertise:

• Ideally 2-5 years of experience in teaching in specializations related to financing in higher education.
• Teaching in at least three of the following areas:
• Derivative evaluation
• Investment Department and Governor Management
• Financial statistics / standard economy
• Financial economy
• Knowing the macroeconomic economy at the preliminary level and the partial economy is very desirable.
• Efficiency with statistical programs (R, Python) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Advanced Excel/VBA).
