Hermann-WEYL-InstructORSHIP (post PhD position)

The Sports Research Institute (FIM) and the Ministry of Mathematics at ETH Zurich invites requests for post-PhD sites (Hermann- Weyl-Instructors) in all areas of mathematics. These positions are granted for a period of three years with the date of starting on September 1, 2026. The applicants must have completed doctoral studies by the date of the appointment, not more than three years. Requests must show dedication and strong promise to search. Hermann-Weyl-Instructors is expected to participate in teaching in the department as follows: Supervising one exercise category in the semester during two consecutive or non-consecutive semesters during the first two years. Moreover, it is expected to help correct the exams. Either the rest of the time can either allocate it fully to search or combine more teaching at an advanced level (will be discussed with the FIM manager).
