Dubai Dubai University Dubai Looking for qualification and experienced people English lecturer for academic purposes (EAP) To join Global Path Center (GPC). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic development of international students registered in The International Year Foundation Program (IYZ)Designed to support its successful transfer to university studies and postgraduate studies.

IYZ offers an innovative approach supported by United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS)Focusing on developing academic skills and knowledge of discipline. The lecturer will also provide EAP units with contributing to the English campus support and academic success initiatives.

Main responsibilities:

• It is studied through the institution, university level, and graduate levels, with a focus on the units of the academic study skills and the academy.
• Development, maintenance and evaluation of teaching materials and evaluation alignment with the results of the program.
• Support the student’s achievement by providing attractive lessons through reading, writing, listening and speaking in an academic context.
• Providing notes on the appropriate assessments and maintaining accurate academic records in line with the university policy.
• Participation actively in curriculum development, student participation activities, and quality assurance operations.
• Support the English language needs in the campus community.
• Cooperation with colleagues to build an educational environment focusing on students and contributing to awareness and retention efforts.
• Inclusion of continuous professional development and maintaining the currency in the methods of teaching English and educational innovation.

Candidate requirements:

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a specialty linked to English (Like Elt, Tesol, Applied Linguistics) – required
• Recognized ELT qualification (Like Delta, Celta, or an equivalent experience) – required
• All academic qualifications must be It is witnessed by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Or you are eligible to ratify when the employment is offered – required
• Candidates must also make sure that their qualifications are eligible UAE Ministry of Education equationOr be ready to start this process when appointing

expertise:

• Ideally 3-5 years of experience in teachingIncluding experience in a Higher Education Foundation in the United Kingdom – required
• EAP teaching experience for students at the level of the institution and at UG/PG- levels required
• Installed record for the development of EAP training materials and contributing to the creation of the curriculum – required
• Introduction with the UK systems and standards of academic writing and research – required
