Job purpose

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and enthusiastic teacher to join our teaching team in the Engineering and Computing Department. Your role will include the teaching and evaluation of international students, in the 3 and 4 levels, to ensure that the goals are exceeded. You will support learners in all aspects of their educational studies using both subjects and pre -innovation in your teaching, as well as benefit from e -learning opportunities when necessary. The section uses the learning area as Vle to support mixed teaching.

Its headquarters at the heart of the campus at De Montivort University, DMUIC offers a wide range of courses for international students, all, when successfully completed, allows for a variety of university degrees, at Di Montfurtter University. Main duties and responsibilities

  • Planning and delivery of electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering at level 3, 4 and 6, for pre -international students from a group of linguistic, educational and cultural backgrounds
  • It remains sensitive to different nationalities expectations with an open approach and interrogation in learning that students lead students to become independent learners
  • Providing academic support to students, as necessary, through consultations and educational programs, which indicates a willingness to provide additional advice outside the normal class hours
  • Development and maintaining an encouraging environment in which the rules of behavior acceptable are applied constantly
  • Choose, prepare, develop and use educational materials and learning appropriate for international students
  • Students ’evaluation throughout their units, create, provide and distinguish both training assessments and summary
  • Providing detailed notes by mouth and writing for students and other stakeholders, for example, the director of the college and the director, as required
  • Implement the administrative tasks and save the records associated with teaching and evaluation (for example precise attendance records, student progress reports, work plans, and test test)
  • Help in developing stereotypes, work schemes, evaluation materials and brochures
  • Vle filling (learning area) with related materials for students
  • Attendance and contributing to college meetings and training sessions as required
  • Work as a positive ambassador for Oxford International Path programs
  • Adhere to both DMU and DMUIC policies and behavior symbols for employees

Person specifications

Legal requirements

  • DBS appropriate detection
  • The eligibility of its work and the travel free in the United Kingdom

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant
  • Master’s degree
  • PGCE or its equivalent

Experience and knowledge

  • Related teaching and evaluation experience, preferably in the context of additional education in the United Kingdom
  • The experience of providing lessons and education via the Internet
  • Recent experience in teaching at an included international college college
  • Experiment to teaching electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering topics for groups of international students inside or preparation.

  • Poourizing international students and understanding their needs
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and writing
  • Understanding a higher education environment
