Clinical Associate Professor – Academic Lead

About the role

The University of Nutingham University is seeking a new academic progress for medicine (Lincoln) to join the College of Medical Education at the College of Medicine in Lincoln, a cooperative initiative between the universities of Nottingham and Lincoln. This is the role of 0.3 FTE and can work flexible.

Work closely with the allocation of medical professionals in the Lincolnchy community and NHS GROUP Hospitals (LCCG), you will coordinate the clinical teaching delivery to the University of Nutingham Medical during their pharmaceutical attachments at the Lincoln Medical College (LMS). Due to the development of its independent medical curricula, innovations will lead in the design of curricula, learning, learning and evaluation within medicine.

Main responsibilities:

  • Cooperation with the academic facility in medicine (Nottingham) to determine the results of learning and supervise the content of the curriculum.
  • Align the medical curriculum with national frameworks, including GMC results for graduates (2018), skills and practical procedures (2023), and evaluating medical licensing.
  • Unify teaching through NHS partner sites and contribute to assessments, including behavior, in an outrageous assessment of clinical and professional skills and submitting notes to students on their academic performance.
  • He played a pivotal role in designing and implementing independent medical curricula in LMS and attending and supporting CPD sessions for clinical teachers in Lincoln.
  • Ensure high -quality medical education is provided throughout Lincolnchy, ensuring that students experience other Nutingham University sites.
  • Development of a strategy for quality management in medicine, and ensuring compliance with GMC standards as LMS transformations to full independence

About you

You will have MBBS or its equivalent; CCT in general internal medicine or medical sub -specialization or qualified for such CCT within 6 months in the date of the interview; A recognized educational qualification, at least, to link the progress of the progress he or what is equivalent.

You should retain a member of the Royal College of Doctors and PhD degree, or its equivalent in medical specialization or medical education, or you have a vocational and equivalent professional expertise.

You will have skills in teaching and learning, including a university medicine student experience using various formats; Excellent oral and written communication skills; A strong team player with influential skills, has the ability to delegate appropriately and work independently as well as in a team; You have a excellence record in university and/or postgraduate studies; Evidence of innovation in the development of curricula, the design of the training course and the presentation of the training course; The commitment to deliver quality services to students; It has a proven record to enhance and maintain cooperative links with the main partners, for example NHS, NHS (Eduction), GMC.
