Under the supervision of the first director of photography, the digital media archive will play a vital role in coordinating the photography assets of Pittsburgh Steles. Digital archives will be responsible for reviewing historical media to improve accuracy and storage regulation, search for rights and licensing with the emergence of need. They will name the illustration and store new imaging assets appropriately, making it easily searched in the DAM system. Digital archives will support the first director of photography in many daily tasks, including maintaining the historical photography archive, arranging current and historical images that can be provided on the dam and supporting the needs of internal imaging, allocation processes, allocation processes, customization, and steel operations.
