The Faculty of Biological Diversity at the University of Glasgow is seeking veterinary medicine, one of the veterinary medicine to employ an excited doctor to join our small animal surgery team. We encourage candidates who have an interest in general surgery, either by biased by strong or strong bones of soft tissues.

The successful candidate at the Small Animal Hospital with the Awards will be the beautiful GARSCUBE. This crowded multidisciplinary hospital works by a team of surgery, internal medicine, neuroscience, oncology, diagnostic photography, anesthesia and ophthalology. The modern facilities available on the site include 1.5T MRI, tomography, linear accelerator, digital radiography, and four fully equipped surgical theaters. The ethics of the “hospital” team guarantee our exceptional clinical care for our patients, and supports the continuous professional development of veterinarians, nurses and support staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a diploma or qualification equivalent in surgery and will have experience in providing high -quality referral service. Successful candidates will also contribute to clinical training for postgraduate and graduate studies, and clinical research and scholarships are encouraged and actively supported through an important component in time “outside my words”.

Candidates must have a RCVS degree in veterinary medicine and obtain a postgraduate diploma in veterinary surgery (ECVS, ACVS or RCVS). Experienced candidates with the status of the advanced practitioner will be considered alongside the qualified candidates to contact the diploma (pre -communication). The background in research and doctorate, although it is desirable, is not necessary.
