Function overview

We are looking for a new employee to influence and evaluate to join our friendly and ambition at the College of Computing and Communications that support the delivery of the pioneering accelerator (PBIAA) account (PBIAA). This position is presented on a full -time contract and until March 16, 2029. We are pleased to talk about flexible work options. The position is fully funded from the outside.

The main elements in your job will be:

  • Work closely with the Cyberfocus team to support the design and delivery of influence activities through the program.
  • Capture, analyze and connect the results of work with academic, civil and industrial partners.
  • Use mixed research methods to produce qualitative and quantitative visions that are reported to develop the program and the effect of evidence.
  • Create established evidence -based outputs, including influence, report studies, and external communications, to report policy and project.
  • Tracking the results of the project and impact indicators through multiple delivery packages.

About you

To be a suitable candidate for this position, you will have:

  • Experience in the use of both specific and quantitative research methods.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to details in collecting, analyzing and providing data and results.
  • The motivation and focus to be able to work alone and as part of the team.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software packages and systems.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn for your development and the success of the team

College of Computing and Communications

As responsible for influence and evaluation, you will be part of the College of Computing and Communications, working on the Cyberfocus Pbiaa team. Cyberfocus is the Epsrc program worth 5 million pounds, and a Ukrainian gambling program that leads cyber innovation and regional influence. Cyberfocus to the University of Lancaster and workers all over the ecosystem in the northwest aims to open the social and economic capabilities of the region through cooperative innovation, civil participation, and the influence led by the research.

It is presented in partnership with six regional universities and a wide network of stakeholders from the public and private sectors, and the program becomes at the forefront of addressing the challenges and opportunities of cybersecurity in the United Kingdom. This role provides a unique opportunity to work through academic circles, industry and government, building partnerships, providing cooperative activities, and turning research into meaningful and impact results for the region.
