The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, North Carolina University in Chapel Hill, is seeking to employ an academic clinical immunity specialist for the path of possession/long -term or changing in the rank of assistant, colleague, or full professor. The faculty member will serve the roles in immunology, cellular flow, and tissue compatibility laboratories UNC Hospitals. Clinical duties include review and signing of test results, quality control data/quality guarantee, testing/validation/validation and provision of consulting services including coverage when connected. This position will provide exceptional opportunities for translation research through multidisciplinary research teams and basic facilities for excellent research. Excellent teaching opportunities are also available.
The candidate must have a PhD, MD or MD/PHD. Post -PhD fellowship training in clinical compatibility (Wicked Approved) and the engineering of the medical laboratory is required. You must meet MDS both Training requirements and expertise required to test the histological compatibility and are licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina. The candidate must be accredited by the board UNC Hospitals. An experiment is required in the immunotherapy test for infectious, allergic, autoimmune diseases, measuring cellular flow and tissue compatibility (transplantation of solid organs and blood -forming cells).
Experience in clinical molecular genetic tests, especially the sequence of the next generation of infectious diseases, and immune disorders is very desirable.
