At Tessa International School, we offer three linguistic paths: Spanish, French and Mandarin, and they are adopted by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the French Ministry of Education. We are also recognized as a model school for Nais.

As one of our main teachers in the English language, you will teach two basic semesters in rotation with the target language teacher. Main responsibilities

• Plans and providing attractive and well -organized lessons linking learning with classrooms for real world experiences, inspiring enthusiasm and academic excellence in line with IB standards and state standards.
• Distinguishing the instructions using a variety of teaching methods and appropriate evaluation in terms of development to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor and support the academic, emotional and social development of students.
• Maintain high expectations for student behavior to ensure a positive and fruitful study environment.
• Merging technology useful to enhance student learning.
• Enhancing a strong feeling of society by actively participating with students, colleagues and families.
• Cooperation in constructively with colleagues, leadership and employees throughout the school.
• Follow up on continuous professional growth and contribute to the culture of continuous improvement.
• Participate in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.
• Performing additional duties as set.

requirements

• Excellent leadership for English
• At least from 3-4 years of experience in teaching primary grades
• It is preferred a master’s degree in education
• Experience with IB PYP and/or favorite dual language programs
• A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
• Strong communication skills, humility and sympathy
• A positive mentality directed towards the solution
• A strong team spirit and a cooperative approach
