Summary of the job

This is a full -time role for the community participation coordinator at the Rainbow Routes Association. This role will be the main responsibility for communication within our local society and the goals of the network that reach more access via Ontario and the national level with Transaada Trail.

The role will focus on:

1. Help, host and support in all societal events
2. Communicate with users of our path inside and outside the tracks
3. Enhancing awareness of the tasks of organizations and action
4. Cultivation of a network of dedicated donors and sponsors
5. Development of our membership through awareness and marketing

Understanding the current tracks within Sudbury, Ontario and Rainbow Routes is one of the assets. This role is located in Sudbury, in our local office in Minnow Lake Place, 1127 Bancroft Drive and daily reports in our office.

• Experience with social media
• Use Facebook and Instagram required
• Linktree’s experience is one of the assets
• Technology and powerful communication skills,
• Organizational skills and time management skills,
• Problem solving skills,
• The experience of collecting donations is essential,
• Digital Marketing and Content Management Systems (MailChimp and Canva)
• French communication skills will be considered a balance

Qualifications

• Experience in communicating with society, participation and planning events
• Strong skills between people and communication,
• The ability to work independently and cooperate in the team’s environment,
• Excellent time management and organizational skills,
• Experience in the non -profit sector is preferred,
• The college diploma or grades related to external education, communications, business or marketing is one of the assets

salary: $ 18 – 20 dollars per hour.

hours: 35 hours a week for 12 months
