About the role:

Are you enthusiastic about education and events and causing a real impact on the lives of students in the future? We are looking for an organized professional focusing on people to help form the future of students ’employment at the University of Pleimouth.

As a major member of our awareness and employment team, will:

  • Design and present inspiring events Whether on campus or almost, they call students, parents, teachers and advisors.
  • Plain priority employment projectsBringing creativity and accuracy to all the details.
  • Build strong relationships With schools, colleges, academics and partner organizations.
  • Student support In making enlightened options about university life.

This is a fixed -term contract until September 1, 2026, covering the maternity/adoption leave within the team.

To ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone we work with, this role requires:

  • Promote adults DBS clearance
  • Health monitoring With our occupational health team

Work arrangements:
This is a hybrid role – it will be based on the university campus for 3 days a week, with the flexibility of work from home when work needs allow. You will also need to be ready to travel and make evening evenings and weekends to support major events and awareness activities.

What we are looking for:

This role is ideal for a person who has a background in teaching, training, awareness, or marketing communications, which flourishes in a quick -footed cooperative environment. You will also bring:

  • Experience in customer service, supervisor, and juvenile planning
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including providing confidence
  • A proactive mentality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Skills for building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Account and literacy at the level of secondary education (or equivalent experience that can be clarified)
  • Educational achievement at the level of higher education (or equivalent experience that can be clarified)
  • Knowing a good work from Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Data Rules
