KCBS2/KCAL9, the largest infringement, and part of the platforms owned by Los Angeles, seeks to the experienced maintenance technician to become part of the engineering and operations team. This is the IBEW Union FORK engineering position, which provides directly to the engineering director.

Initial accountability:
• The daily maintenance and support of the station’s basic infrastructure, which is not limited to news editing systems, automation of the control room, components, local news channel and broadcasting systems, sender operations, studio equipment as well as field operations equipment and vehicles.
• Install, upgrade, explore errors, repair and repair electronic equipment to a component level (devices/program).
• Working cooperative in the design, construction and implementation of stations engineering projects and initiatives.
• Performing the roles of the station operations on the basis of its need, including supporting field operations and studio operations.
• Work with equipment manufacturers and sellers to solve problems, including requesting spare parts/services.

Specialists:
• Voice Engineering and the ability to treat and repair complex TV broadcasting systems.

• Experience and background in RF transmission and technology.
• The candidate must be a very subjective and organized start.
• Powerful project implementation and coordination skills.
• Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to successfully communicate successfully with other engineering employees, station employees, administration and external sellers in a fast -line dynamic environment.
• The ability to train his fellow engineers in new systems, technologies, procedures and technologies.

The minimum education and expertise requirements:
• 5 years of experience as a TV broadcast, or its equivalent.
• A university degree in engineering or Sbe certificate, desirable.
• You should join the IBEW 45 union if not currently. Work rules, compensation, and leave time are determined by the main agreement.
• Prepare to work for nights, weekends, holidays, and in emergency situations, because we are a news process around the clock throughout the week.
• The ability to be independent of self and cooperation with the engineering team is important.
• Knowledge and experience working with example, but not limited to, Sony automation, transformers, cameras, media servers, non -linear liberation systems Grass Valley, Telestream coding products, chyron graphics systems, Evertz routers, RTS Intercoms, and
Concuable coding.
• Knowing and understanding the rules and regulations of the Federal Communications Committee.
• Knowledge of the IP, Active Directory and Software Superment Utailaes.
• Knowing the work of Microsoft Office, Visio, and autocad applications.
• Manufacturing capabilities

Employment salary scope: 61,745.00 dollars – 130,102.00.

The recruitment salaries for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington, and most other geographical regions. The start of payment for the successful applicant depends on a variety of functional factors, including but not limited to, geographical location, market requirements, experience, training, and education.
