What will you do?
As a volunteer coordinator, you will play a major role in supporting and developing our volunteer community. Work closely with our national natural reserve and a wider team, will:
- Enhancing opportunities such as volunteering, courses and events
- Development and organization of marketing, including social media, newsletters and posters
- Support with the organization and delivery of community participation initiatives
- Organizing volunteer training and incitement, and ensuring that everyone feels welcome, appreciated and confident in their role.
- Coordination of volunteer inputs in the work of preservation, maintenance, events, and the broader activities of the wider.
- Always be sure to always fulfill the requirements of health, safety and protection.
- This role also includes the Call Duty cover as part of the first team on the site.

The Slapton Field Studies Council is located in breathtaking landscapes in southern Devon. The center sits on the Bay Bay coast and is surrounded by the Slapton Ley Nature National Reserve, which has an area of ​​210 hectares-the largest natural lake in southwestern England.
Slappven Ley is a truly unique place: 4 km of shingsle beach, cane, swamps, and forest habitats, all of which have been appointed as a special scientific interest and announced a national national reserve in 1993. The reserve is jointly managed by the Field Studies Council, Wild Planet Trust, Natural England, and South Hams District.

Who are we looking for
- Experienced in successfully coordinating or managing volunteers, with a busy record in supporting and developing volunteer teams.
- The previous experience of volunteering, with an understanding of what makes the virgin volunteer experience.
- The great communication is able to inspire and motivate people from all aspects of life.
- Very organized, with strong administrative skills and information technology.
- Flexible and positive, able to work independently and as part of the team.
- A person shares our passion for nature, learning and community participation.
