Opportunity
Under the general trend of the company’s employee and the director of commercial and community services, the company’s deputy official supports the duties and legal responsibilities of the company’s employee. This position provides secret administrative and organizational support for the company’s employee, as well as the council and its committees.
The job operator is responsible for coordinating and implementing the logistics services of the Council and the entire meeting committee, including attending and registering regular, private and closed meetings as required. Duties also include preparing and reviewing business schedules and minutes, operating audio and visual equipment during meeting procedures.

Additional responsibilities include support for the registration management system, ensuring compliance with the Law of Freedom of Information and Privacy Privacy, helping to prepare regulations, managing legal agreements and notifications, supervising the election management, and working as a responsible for companies responsible for the agency when needed.

Role requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • A valid driver license BC Class 5 (or its equivalent between provinces) with a clean driver summary

  • Five years of gradually responsible experience in a municipal government environment (an acceptable combination of education and expertise can be considered)
  • Comprehensive efficiency of the computer, with the ability to learn new programs and digital tools quickly
  • Advanced efficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), Adobe applications, and telecommunications platforms

  • Strong skills to solve problems and analytical thinking

Work conditions
This is a full -time regular role, excluded from the bargaining unit. Working hours are 35 hours a week, from Monday to Friday, although flexibility in evening meetings is required. The salary of this role ranges from 92,817 dollars – 100,632 dollars annually, as well as attractive extended benefits, pension package, and a four -week holiday to start.
