Applications are invited to a technical participation to join the Sheffield Research Group in Nano Bokors, led by Professor Monita Mattana and Dr. Feith Howard, based in clinical medicine departments at the School of Medicine at the University of Sheffield. The comprehensive research goal of the Sheffield Nanopog-is the development of new cancer treatments targeted using insects as drugs.

We are looking for a very enthusiastic and skillful individual, well organized and semi -independent work on a 3 -year project funded by YCR. We aim to engineer magnetic bacteria (MTB) to carry immunological (magnetic) therapeutic loads of metolar tumors using magnetic guidance strategies. In addition, we will investigate sustainable manufacturing methods with our eclutor cooperation to determine MTB strains with an optimal growth rate and magnetic production rates. By doing this, we aim to develop a group of microbiology -inspired magnetism that provides environmentally friendly manufacturing, which paves the way for a sustainable medicine approach against non -curable cancer.

You will be practically skilled, well -organized, flexible and committed, will join a diversified laboratory team to conduct laboratory research on a semi -independent basis under the supervision of Professor Mattana and Dr. Howard and our collaborator with the project. It is expected to be; Design, implementation and evaluation of experiments; Keep excellent experimental records. Prepare the reports regularly and feed other members in the research set. It is also expected that it will contribute to preparing scientific manuscripts, attending and providing meetings of academic/laboratories, and helping to oversee university students and advise graduate research students as necessary as part of a cooperative research team. The successful candidate must be strongly enthusiastic, paid himself, able to accept the direction and be an excellent team player. It is expected that you will expect excellent communication and personal skills. You must have a PhD (or are about to finish) in vital engineering, drug delivery, or you have appropriate reward experience. You will have experience in the growth of human and microbial cell culture and manipulation, amplification of tumor viruses, immune/immunity chemistry, cell survival guns and mice cancer models. Experience in molecular biology and immunity will be useful, but it is not necessary.
