Civil standards

The candidate must be a citizen in India. The candidate must have passed:

Employment notification of the employment of the Primary Education Department in Western Bengal State 2025: Apply to 13421 Assistan

• High school (or equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and diploma for a period of two years in primary education
• High school (or equivalent) with at least 45 % marks and diploma for two years in primary education
• Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 4 years Bachelor of Primary Education (B.EL.ED.))
• High school (or equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and diploma for a period of two years in education (private education)
• Graduation and diploma for a period of two years in testing the eligibility of the primary education teacher (TET) (conducted by the Education Council in Western Bengal adheres to the rules and principles set by NCTE)

The application process

The candidate is required to pay the required fees as mentioned below (not refundable) to obtain the application form and send it through the internet mode:

• For the public category candidate: 600 Indian rupees/-($ 600)
• For the candidate for OBC (A and B): 500 Indian rupees/-($ 500)
• For SC/ S/ EWS/ PWD: 300 INR ($ 300)

Assistant teachers should be chosen on the basis of the collected signs obtained in the following elements for the evaluation of the maximum signs of 50:

• Madhyamik/ Extravagance: 05 Signs
• Secondary examination/ High reward: 10 signs
• Training as specified by NCTE: 15 marks
• Teacher’s eligibility test (tet): 05 signs
• Systematic activities: 05 signs
• VIVA-VOOCE/ Interview: 05 Signs
• Efficiency test/ teaching experience in the case of paragraph: 05 signs
