The main role in the function, in cooperation with other members of the project, is to collect data and appoint them about the disturbing effects of the sea bottom of the external industry and analyze the effects of this disorder on the organic carbon stored inside the seafarers ’sediments. This information is crucial to identifying the risk carbon stores that may contribute to the underwater carbon emissions that are likely to accelerate climate change.

The successful applicant will work closely with Professor Calum Roberts, as well as other researchers in the project, on the task of setting the external industry on continental shelves in the global ocean.

Your specific focus on the exploitation of oil, gas and wind cameras will be with the aim of building first -class estimates of the organic carbon amount on the sea floor that will be filled through their activities. Your business will lead to many publications that document the risk of carbon storage in the ocean from human activities and how to reduce these risks through management.
