The Information and Services Department focuses on experimental studies and active cooperation with prestigious companies and universities. Most of our projects contain national and international partners, and the results of our research target academic magazines with a higher level. The research is widely divided into three specializations: information systems sciences, management sciences and SCM/logistics, with topics such as digital service development, service networks, behavioral decision -making and data science. We are now looking for University lecturer To join us and support the development of our growing portfolio of business security directed, digitization, and/or artificial intelligence study units in the Information and Services Management Department. The situation is a full -time permanent lecturer. The chosen candidate is expected to start in January 2026 or as soon as possible. Workplace

The Aalto Lecturer System consists of four levels and in this employment, you can appoint you as a university teacher, university lecturer or great university lecturer, depending on your qualifications and experiences. Your role and goals

The successful candidate will participate in planning, developing and presenting courses at the university level and studying the study units on various topics directed to work related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and/or digitization. The candidate must also have the ability to plan and teach the study units suitable for executive education and broad life learning programs. The successful candidate is expected to conduct research, supervise the theses of masters and bachelors, and participate in preparing grant proposals to acquire external research and education.

Your experience and aspirations

We are looking for applicants who complement or completed doctoral studies in information systems science, commercial information technology, or a close field. Applicants should prove their ability to teach university education courses and executive education courses perfectly on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and/or digitization. The applicants must have shown
The ability to conduct research independently, capabilities or ability to publish in high -quality scientific magazines. Parking requires fluent skills in the English language. It is considered the Finnish efficiency
feature. The candidate should be familiar with modern educational curricula (such as constructive learning, learning -based learning, project -based learning) and has the ability to use digital tools and resources to teach effectively.

Applicants must have a PhD (or they are about to finish a doctorate degree) in information systems sciences or commercial information technology or a close field. Between 50-70 % of work duties is linked to teaching, depending on the level of the lecturer’s job system for the person chosen for this position.
