International Professions Adviser in the study group

Contract type: Part -time – Permanent (20 hours a week)

Global Profession Adviser plays a pivotal role in enabling international students to achieve high -quality professional results. Through individual and group training, data -based visions, strategic industry participation, and application of advanced digital tools, the role guarantees that students are equipped with skills, trust, knowledge and networks needed for prosperity in global competitive jobs.

About the role

  • Provide allocated job training, support employment for international students, and address unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Show a passion for staying in view of the global labor market trends and the employer’s expectations to help inform the strategy and practice.
  • Determining and spreading high -quality visions related to sectors and professions, using the most appropriate channels and the type of media to pay the participation.
  • The hero and the guidance of students to take advantage of digital solutions (for example, platforms driven by artificial intelligence, and virtual functional tools) to enhance the professional readiness of students in a rapidly changing world.
  • Maintaining accurate records for students’ participation with professions and support employment on campus and through the use of digital tools provided, and data analysis to inform the targeted interventions and continuous improvement.
  • Cooperation with academics, student experience team on campus, and stakeholders assigned at HuddersFields to align and integrate career development through student trip.
  • Design and facilitating workshops and effective events focused on global employment, cultural intelligence and professional development.
  • Watch and report the main performance indicators related to students who get part -time work or internal training in addition to their studies, promoting skills, preparedness in the labor market, and the results of high -quality postgraduate employment.
  • Support future participation with graduates and graduate societies.
  • Work closely with the colleagues of the study group and the main stakeholders on the campus to ensure that you have an accurate practical knowledge of compliance requirements, including visas, protection, attendance, health, safety and risks.

About you

  • Training certificate or advanced training stage, necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant field (for example, education, human resources, psychology, business, economics), very desirable.
  • Graduate studies qualification, or study, desirable.
  • CIPD Qualification or Organic, desirable.
  • An experiment installed in job training, student support or talent development, ideally with international or multicultural population.
  • The experience of communication with industry partners or multiple departments in the field of international businesses to design joint cooperative activities on professions, employment,/or, and/or;
  • Companies experience in employing students and higher talents through advanced professional practice, including digital assessments and personal assessments (group and individual).
  • Some experience in designing or delivering router will be useful.
