Head of the Department of Modern and classic languages

A full -time position to start in August, 2026

Spence is looking for the head of modern and classic languages ​​to inspire and direct the dynamic grades program 5-12 in Chinese, French, Spanish and Latin mandarin. The temporary president grows a coherent and aspiration-based team-colleagues, defending professional growth, strategic employment-to enhance curricula based on communication efficiency, cultural fluency, and language scholarships.

Responsibilities:

• Work as an immediate supervisor of the 15 -member section
• Supervising the professional growth notes course for members of the department
• Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment by engaging in reviewing curricula and mapping through the department
• Leadership of the normal section meetings
• The Department of Husiness and Division, employees and search operations for faculty members in partnership with officials
• The administration represents the internal and external electoral districts
• Service in committees at the school level and admission and communication events
• Daily Steward and departments budget
• Cooperation in planning the international trip to provide cultural indulgence
• Supervising the classmates of the high school student support middle school classes
• Teaching three courses in middle or high school

• It holds an advanced degree or equivalent experience
