Job purpose:

The Executive Director of Development will be a creative, strategic and administrative contributor to creative management. They will work closely with the great director, Creative, VP, strategic partnerships and text content to present new projects to the screen for the Canadian and international fans.

Duties and responsibilities:

The source and a strong IP review, a new, and marketing, from the original ideas, textile programs for specifications, novels, articles, etc. that are in line with the brand of Chaftsbury and its creative aspirations.
Work with designs to enhance the creative programs and communications associated with improving their quality and marketing.
Help refine and prepare the strong, visual, and verbal stadium materials to present them to potential partners and market goals, including joint international production opportunities.
Read and review requests to provide summaries, notes, comments and advanced recommendations for each project.
Maintaining consistent communication and communication with agents and actors and creativity to develop new projects and take stadiums.
Time and resource management appropriately to ensure the proper priorities of projects through the development list.
For every project that has been appointed, follow all creative and scheduling deliveries.
Communication through departments to ensure informing all employees responsible for managing each project and are able to implement in the designated tasks (business, accounting, marketing, production, etc.)
Prepare and submit strong financing requests to finance development and support the list.
Communicate with commercial and legal affairs to ensure that all paper works are found for different development projects.
Keep aware of the current programming trends and market trends, and the ongoing events of interest to Canadian and international fans,
Participate in the events and conferences of communication in the industry to create and preserve relations, develop creative opportunities, and GLAN visions of industry leaders.

Skills and requirements

At least 5 years of experience in the text television industry
Experience in working on creative content at peak time, focusing on the development of the story and developing the series.
A good understanding of the needs of TV broadcasters, current industry market trends and landscapes.
Oral and writing communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to details and follow -up.
The ability to define continuous priorities and multi -task.
The ability to work well with all internal and external stakeholders across various projects.
Master with Microsoft; Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
