Codepath is looking for an employee software engineer who will design, develop and maintain infrastructure and web -based applications, which is the focus of our mission to enhance and need the educational experience of emerging engineers.

We manage a mild size (12-15 volts per second in addition to supporting services) and search for a person with Devops principles instead of experience in institutions. You will not bear responsibility – we have maintained this infrastructure for years. Your role is to help our team rise with the contribution of products features as part of the full engineering team.

As an employee software engineer, you will join a small team of engineers who cooperate directly with the stakeholders to understand the needs of our students and our employees, and actively participate in the decision -making process about the features and functions that must be addressed and then implemented independently. In the Codepath Product Engineering Team, high -impact decisions will be made on how to solve our problems.

What will you do

It leads the fees to update the infrastructure of our production using Terraform and ANSIBLE. It will help in the transmission of our stable preparation, but aging to a more maintenance and development infrastructure approach

Maintaining and updating our internal libraries and our doors to ensure long -term expansion and stability

Using Rails 7.1 with Turbo in Greenfield projects that will help us reduce the cost for each student and enable us to reach more students more simultaneously than ever before

Improving the training course material system based on the implementation reduction to support the learning moved by perfection

Expanding the scope of a system that helped tens of thousands of students help hundreds of other thousands

We are closely involved with artificial intelligence leaders from Microsoft, Google, Openai and other specialists at the forefront of R&D AI. You will have the opportunity to work in practice with the most advanced artificial intelligence systems in the world

Main activities

• Design, development and maintenance of infrastructure solution
• Design, development and maintenance of web -based applications using Ruby on Rails, Sinatra/Padrino and Django
• Cooperation with multi -functional teams including product managers, designers and other developers to determine the requirements, implement new features and repair errors
• Write a clean, effective and maintenance symbol
• Participate in code and maintain code quality standards
• Write the mechanical tests and make sure the applications test precisely before publishing
• Continue to update the latest technologies, frameworks and best practices in software development
• Determine and address performance bottlenecks and other technical problems
• Correcting issues and exploring and repairing errors when they appear
• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering (5 years of experience minimal use Ruby on Rails)
• Comfortable with TerraForm practices and infrastructure as a code to manage small to medium publishing operations
• Devops passion and infrastructure automation
• A strong experience with one or more of our work frames: bars, Senatra/Badrino, or Django
• Infinter with Docker and Containerization
• Experience in maintaining software packages, whether internal or open source
• Experience with posgresql and database design
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in the team’s environment
• The passion for education and the desire to make a positive impact in the world
