Co -researcher at Edinburgh University

Full time: 35 hours a week

Fixed term: 12 months

Opportunity:

A successful candidate will contribute to an industry project that focuses on the use of assembly techniques to improve the performance of sporadic nerve networks. It is expected to lead the search for certain aspects of the project while contributing to the rest of the project (help in supervising the research applicant, preparing presentations and reports of behavior, and developing relevant projects/follow -up).

Candidates must obtain a doctorate degree (or on the verge of completion) in computer science or relevant field and a busy record in strong research through publications in higher places. Experience with automated learning construction systems, performance control and translator building improving very desirable. We are looking for a very enthusiastic candidate who has a strong initiative and commitment to excellence, and the ability to conduct global research in preparing the team.

This post is announced as full -time, however, we are open to looking at part -time work patterns. We are also open to considering hybrid work requests (on a non -contracting basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular work on campus.

Your skills and characteristics for success:

  • Doctorate degree (or near PhD) in computer science or relevant field.
  • An excellent research record as shown through publications in higher conferences and/or high -influential magazines.
  • It is preferable, experience in building automated learning systems.
  • It is preferable to have experience in building translators.
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly, by mouth and writing.
  • You have a high level of initiative, be directed towards details and the ability to work effectively in preparing the team.
