Classic studies

Classical studies in the African Union deal with all aspects of ancient times in Graeco-Roman: material and visual culture, literature, language, ideas and ideals. We also study how the Graco-Roman culture interacts with other Mediterranean cultures and how it was received and re-interpreted at later periods. Classic studies combine scientific traditions.
